This course book is developed for the domestic migrant worker candidates who want to work in overseas countries. The contents of this course book are developed based on the result of need analysis of the users and the available book evaluation conducted in BLKLN Jakarta and Central Java Province. It is important for the domestic migrant worker candidates to learn English because they want to work in target countries which use English as its official language such as Singapore, Malaysia, and others. This course book uses Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. Therefore, the domestic migrant worker candidates can learn English by relating the materials with their real jobs. In other words, the domestic migrant worker candidates learn how to use language in the context of real life, which is to communicate both in oral and written language with their employers and to their surroundings abroad. This course book also provides materials which are needed for the domestic migrant worker candidates in doing their jobs.
